Job Title: Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in Speech and Hearing

The Speech and Hearing program at Al-Quds University aims at the completion of the student studies to prepare her to work independently as a Speech and Hearing therapist and collaboratively with other health and rehabilitation team members. The programme is designed on scientific and evidence-based basis taking into consideration the technological developments in accordance with the social, cultural variations to meet the need of the population.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Teach courses in the area of expertise of  Speech and Hearing 
2. Contribute to various committees at the Program, Faculty and University level.
3. Contribute to the research profile of the faculty through research publications.
4. Serve as a student academic advisor.
5. Contribute in the continuous quality improvement and curricular enhancement process. 
6. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications:

1. MSc or PhD.in the Relevant disciplinary area (Speech and Hearing).
2. Preferred a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing
3. Teaching experience 
4. Familiar with Educational technologies used in the higher education sector.
5. Willingness to work with teams.
6. Awareness of working with people from diverse backgrounds.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
