Job Title: Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in Speech and Hearing
The Speech and Hearing program at Al-Quds University aims at the completion of the student studies to prepare her to work independently as a Speech and Hearing therapist and collaboratively with other health and rehabilitation team members. The programme is designed on scientific and evidence-based basis taking into consideration the technological developments in accordance with the social, cultural variations to meet the need of the population.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in the area of expertise of Speech and Hearing
- Contribute to various committees at the Program, Faculty and University level.
- Contribute to the research profile of the faculty through research publications.
- Serve as a student academic advisor.
- Contribute in the continuous quality improvement and curricular enhancement process.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications:
- MSc or PhD.in the Relevant disciplinary area (Speech and Hearing).
- Preferred a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing
- Teaching experience
- Familiar with Educational technologies used in the higher education sector.
- Willingness to work with teams.
- Awareness of working with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
