Professor Dr. Ahmed Amro, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Quds University, has been elected as the official co-speaker for the alumni network of the Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA), representing the Arab side. The election took place during the AGYA official meeting held as part of the Academy’s annual conference at the University of Sharjah last week.
Prof. Dr. Ahmad Amro joined the Academy as a member in 2018. Throughout his years of membership, he has made significant research and organizational contributions, having coordinated several internal research groups and implemented a series of joint projects focused on public health, education, and Arab-German scientific exchange.
The Arab-German Young Academy of Sciences and Humanities (AGYA) is a leading scientific platform comprising over 120 scientists and researchers from Germany and Arab countries. It aims to promote joint scientific research, support academic cooperation, and implement interdisciplinary projects in the fields of basic and applied sciences, as well as humanities.
