The Mission of Community and Family Medicine is to promote and support education and clinical  training in community services and collaboration with community-based organizations.

-Provide medical students with an understanding of the basic concepts in various disciplines  of community & family medicine (Preventive Medicine, Maternal and child health, health  care management, environmental and occupational health).

– Practice community health care at the grass root level i.e. community level.

– Interpret community health research findings.

– Execute research in the domain of community medicine.

– Conduct a community health education program.

– Consider the code of ethics when dealing with patients, colleagues and the community as a  whole
