Major Responsibilities

The Major Responsibilities outlined below focus on effective administration of students’ affairs and maintaining lifelong engagement with Faculty of Medicine graduates. Together, they strengthen student support and alumni relations.

Administers students’ affairs in the faculty of medicine in collaboration with assistants to the dean.

Tracking faculty graduates in order to keep lifelong interaction with them.

Students Affairs and Academic Mentoring Committee

Purpose

Following students’ issues accordance with the faculty’s requirements and creation of a dynamic and inclusive environment that encourages lifelong connections with faculty graduates

Responsibilities

  1. Administers students’ affairs considering:
    • Consultations
    • Considerations of students’ private issues and special needs
    • Exam’s re-correction
    • Incomplete and Reset exams
  2. Arrangements and administration of students’ activities
  3. Monitors students’ academic progress in accordance with concerned assistant Dean.

Alumni Committee

Purpose

Fostering a supportive alumni network that encourages lasting relationships, networking opportunities, and collaboration among graduates from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Responsibilities

  1. To build connection with graduates at large to help the faculty celebrating achievements, and providing resources for personal and professional development
  2. To foster a strong and supportive community for our graduate
  3. to encourage graduates to contribute their time, expertise, and resources to enhance the faculty experience for current and future generations.
  4. To Promote a culture of generosity and support by organizing social and scientific activities to encourage lifelong interaction with graduates
  5. To enhance graduates’ contribution in the ongoing success of the faculty
