Al-Quds University Concludes Its 45th Cohort Graduation Ceremonies for the Faculties of Dentistry, Da‘wah and Fundamentals of Religion, Law, Business and Economics, Science and Technology, Educational Sciences, and Arts

Al-Quds University concluded its 45th cohort graduation celebrations at its main campus in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Engineer Munib Rashid Al-Masri; University President Prof. Dr. Imad Abu Kishek; members of the Board of Trustees; academic and administrative staff; prominent national and community figures; and the graduates’ families and loved ones. The festive atmosphere reflected the University’s commitment to celebrating its graduates and recognizing their efforts and achievements.

On the final day of the celebrations, the University honored graduates from the Faculties of Dentistry; Da‘wah, Fundamentals of Religion, and Qur’anic Studies; Law; Business and Economics; Science and Technology; Educational Sciences; and Arts.

In his address, the Chairman of Al-Quds University’s Board of Trustees, Engineer Munib Rashid Al-Masri, congratulated the graduates and their families on this achievement. He highlighted the excellence of the University’s graduates across various disciplines and affirmed the Board’s ongoing efforts to support them, create promising opportunities, and open new horizons for their future.

Al-Masri also congratulated the Faculty of Medicine on receiving accreditation for its Doctor of Medicine program from the Jordanian Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission. He highlighted the University’s pioneering academic and research achievements, its continued success in earning international awards and accreditations, and its advancement in global rankings. He attributed these accomplishments to the University administration’s sound vision and ongoing commitment to developing the educational process and promoting scientific research, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Al-Quds University President Prof. Dr. Imad Abu Kishek said that the University continues its journey of excellence and leadership, building on its advanced academic and research achievements. For the sixth consecutive year, it has maintained its position as the top-ranked university in Palestine, making it the only Palestinian university among the world’s top 1,000. It also earned a five-star rating across the indicators of the 2027 QS World University Rankings.

Prof. Dr. Abu Kishek highlighted the University’s leading global standing in employer reputation and its students’ excellence in research and academic publishing. He emphasized that the University has equipped its students with knowledge, skills, and values while empowering them through research, academic engagement, training, and exchange programs with international universities. He also noted the University’s commitment to keeping pace with technological developments, expanding its artificial intelligence programs, and aligning educational outcomes with labor-market needs. These efforts prepare students to overcome hardships, confront challenges, uphold their University’s mission, serve their homeland and national cause, and strengthen the University’s standing nationally, regionally, and internationally.

In the graduates’ address, dentistry graduate Zein Rahhal expressed her pride in standing on the graduation stage to represent her fellow graduates after years of hard work and perseverance. She emphasized that Al-Quds University had not only provided its students with knowledge but had also instilled in them the values of humanity, responsibility, and belonging.

Rahhal thanked everyone who had supported her and her fellow graduates throughout their journey, including their families, professors, and classmates. She noted that a career in medicine is shaped not by knowledge alone, but also by patience, compassion, and a commitment to serving humanity. She affirmed that the University’s graduates carry a message of knowledge and hope and will continue their journey in a manner worthy of the names of Al-Quds University and Palestine.

Dr. Thaer Nassar, Director of the Master’s Program in Digital Media and Communication, hosted the ceremony, which featured a variety of artistic, cultural, and innovative digital segments. The event also included honoring high-achieving students, graduating the first group of dentistry students and administering their professional oath, followed by the graduation of a second group comprising students from the other participating faculties.

It is worth noting that the 45th cohort graduation ceremony included graduates from the classes of 2024, 2025, and 2026. The ceremony featured unique digital presentations incorporating artificial intelligence and adopted the “Red Anemones” flower as its name and theme. The first day honored graduates from the Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Health Professions, and Public Health; the Najjad Zeenni Faculty of Engineering; Al-Quds Bard College for Arts and Sciences; and graduate studies programs.
