The first cohort of residents in the Orthodontics and Endodontics specialty programs achieved a 100% success rate in the Palestinian Board examination, crowning their outstanding efforts during the three-year residency program in accordance with the accreditation and regulations of the Palestinian Medical Council.
Al-Quds University extended congratulations to the specialist doctors on their graduation and attainment of the Palestinian Board certification, wishing them a prosperous and illustrious future in their chosen medical specialties and in fulfilling the university’s community vision and mission of delivering superlative medical services to patients, characterized by the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abu Younis, congratulated the Faculty staff on this achievement, which reflects and affirms the excellence and quality of specialized training in the faculty and its alignment with the best modern and advanced training and teaching tools and methods, particularly the adoption of technological and digital programs in patient treatment and follow-up. He also highlighted the distinction, diversity, and competence of the teaching and medical staff in the faculty’s clinics and various programs.
He stressed that this success is an extension of a series of continuous achievements by the Faculty of Dentistry in recent years, as it has attained advanced and outstanding success rates for its graduates in licensing and specialty board examinations—rates that compete with and surpass those of the most prestigious universities worldwide in this field. This affirms its constant commitment to graduating medical professionals capable of competing and making effective contributions to the development of the dental profession locally, regionally, and globally.
It is worth noting that three specialty programs have been accredited at Al-Quds University by the Medical Council since 2022. These programs include orthodontics, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Upon completing the residency and clinical training period, dentists become eligible to sit for the Palestinian Board examination and obtain the highest specialty certification from the Palestinian Medical Council, which qualifies them to practice the medical specialty in Palestine in accordance with the law
