Al-Quds University and The Turkish University of Health Sciences Sign Agreement To Expand Strategic Cooperation

Al-Quds University and the Turkish University of Health Sciences signed an agreement to expand strategic cooperation between the two universities, including developing joint research projects, enriching academic cooperation in medical fellowship programs, establishing new research centers in the field of health sciences, and enhancing joint training and education activities in clinical sciences and postgraduate training.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Imad Abu Kishek and the President of the University of Health Sciences, Prof. Kemalettin Aydin, during a meeting held at the university’s headquarters in Istanbul.

The agreement included a focus on cooperation in innovation and medical technology, the establishment of a postgraduate medical institute, and an agreement to establish a joint cooperation committee between the two universities at the level of university vice presidents and deans of medical colleges.

Both parties emphasized the importance of this agreement, which comes within the framework of a deep partnership between Al-Quds University and the Turkish University, and provides unique training, research and academic opportunities for medical students, academics and researchers at Al-Quds University, as well as an example of academic solidarity towards Palestine in the fields of education and science, supporting Palestinian scientific research and expanding joint scientific production.

It is noteworthy that several scores of Al-Quds University students have obtained the opportunity for clinical training in hospitals affiliated with the Turkish University of Health Sciences as part of the partnership between the two universities, which extends to academic and research cooperation in all medical and health fields.
