The Faculty of Law at Al-Quds University, represented by its Dean, Dr. Issa Manasra, signed an academic cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Law and Political Science at Jiangxi Normal University, represented by Vice Dean Prof. Liu Yanlin. The signing took place in the presence of the Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Dr. Shadi Razeqa, as well as Jiangxi Normal University’s Vice President for International Relations, Xiao Zhongmi, and the Director of the Confucius Institute at Al-Quds University, Mr. Fu Zhongwei.

This agreement was reached subsequent to an official delegation from the Faculty of Law, comprising the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Issa Manasra; the Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs and Development, Dr. Manal Abdel; and the professor of International Law at the Faculty, Dr. Dargam Saif, in addition to several faculty students, who traveled to Jiangxi Normal University in the People’s Republic of China. The visit was part of a scientific visit aimed at strengthening relations between the two faculties, which resulted in the signing of a five-year academic cooperation agreement.

The agreement encompassed academic exchange programs for faculty members at both colleges, student exchange programs, joint research collaboration between academics from both colleges, and cultural activities reflecting both Palestinian and Chinese cultures.

A series of meetings and consultations were held between the two faculties, resulting in this cooperation, which underscores the depth of Palestinian-Chinese relations in the academic, scientific, and research fields, as well as Al-Quds University’s efforts to expand its academic partnerships and enhance opportunities for academic and student exchange. Furthermore, it demonstrates the university’s commitment to fostering opportunities for research cooperation.
