Al-Quds University Ranked First in Palestine for Fifth Consecutive Year, Places 953rd Globally in QS 2026 Rankings

Al-Quds University has secured its fifth consecutive year at the top of the QS rankings in Palestine, standing as the only national university among the top 1000 worldwide. This marks a significant milestone, as it represents a 119-place rise since its debut in the global rankings.

The university ranked 644th globally in the Employer Reputation indicator, making it the leading Palestinian university in this index. This ranking is a testament to the confidence of the labor market in the university’s graduates and highlights the quality and relevance of its academic programs to the needs of the market.

The university administration congratulated its community on this well-deserved achievement, which reflects a continuous upward trajectory in performance and highlights the effectiveness of the university’s academic and administrative policies and leading scientific methodology in administration, scientific research, teaching and encouraging leadership and innovation. This progress is an indicator of the stability of institutional performance in the face of the continuous escalation of international standards of competition.

Al-Quds University’s overall index surged from 13.5 to 18.6 points, showcasing a marked enhancement in institutional performance and validating the efficacy of the development plans and endeavors implemented in recent years to elevate the caliber of education, academic standing, and scientific research.

The university scored 18.6 in the overall index, exceeding the Palestinian average of 14.2 by 4.4 points, or 30.8%. This clearly indicates the university’s distinction from the national context and its exceptional performance in international quality standards.

The ranking is noteworthy for including 1501 universities globally, out of 8467 that were evaluated after the entry of 112 new universities this year. This reflects intensified global competition and the high standards of entry into the ranking. It also highlights the importance of Al-Quds University maintaining its presence in this global ranking.

Al-Quds University is the clear leader among four Palestinian universities that were ranked globally. This achievement is a testament to the university’s ongoing national leadership in higher education. It is a clear indicator of continuous improvement and long-term planning, and it strengthens the confidence of the local and international academic community in the university.
