Al-Quds University, represented by its president, Prof. Dr. Hanna Abdel Nour, and his accompanying delegation from the university, participated in the tenth annual international scientific conference organized by the Jordanian Society for Educational Science. The conference, entitled “Visions and Ideas for Hot Issues in Education,” was held in the city of Aqaba, in cooperation with Al-Quds University.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Hanna Abdel Nour emphasized the pride that Palestinians take in Jordan’s steadfast support for their rights, describing it as their foremost ally at all levels and across various fields. He particularly highlighted Jordan’s ongoing role in confronting the Israeli occupation’s attempts to erase the Arab, Islamic, and Christian identity of the Palestinian territories, especially Jerusalem.
Prof. Dr. Abdel Nour also praised Jordan’s continuous efforts to engage with Palestinian official institutions, providing them with comprehensive support and guidance across various fields, including education and academia.
Presenting papers and chairing sessions were: Dean of Admissions and Registration Dr. Ghassan Al-Deek, Director of the Admission Department Dr. Huda Hajjah, and from the Faculty of Educational Sciences: Dr. Nara Hajja, Dr. Saed Al-Raziqat, Dr. Kamal Makhmara, Dr. Ashraf Abu Khairan, Dr. Saeed Awad, Dr. Nayef Al-Khatib, and Dr. Iyad Idkidak, in addition to a number of students from the Educational Leadership and Administration PhD program.
It is noteworthy that Al-Quds University participates annually in the Jordanian International Scientific Conference by addressing various topics related to the education sector, especially in the fields of technology and the communication revolution.
The conference, held under the patronage of former Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Raouf Al Rawabdeh, was attended by the President of the Association, Dr. Ratib Al Saud, and the Director of QS Rating for Africa, the Middle East and South Asia, Dr. Ashton Fernandez, along with a group of researchers and educators from Jordan and a number of Arab countries.
