Al-Quds University has achieved a new academic milestone, with its students receiving 19 out of 22 master’s scholarships awarded under the “In-Country Programme,” funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), for the 2026/2027 academic year. This achievement further affirms the University’s academic and research excellence, as well as its ability to attract international support and provide its students with distinctive opportunities.
This achievement builds on the University’s success in securing the accreditation and support of six master’s programmes under the same initiative for the academic years 2026/2027 through 2029/2030. This further strengthens its academic and research presence and opens broader prospects for students to pursue graduate studies in vital and advanced fields.
The accepted scholarships were allocated across several distinguished academic programmes: 13 scholarships for the Master’s Programme in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, three scholarships for the Master’s Programme in Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases, and one scholarship each for the programmes in Computer Engineering and Electronics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Medical Imaging Technology.
The University affirmed that this achievement reflects the quality of its graduate programmes and the confidence that international donor institutions place in its academic and research output, as well as its continued commitment to providing an educational and research environment that fosters excellence and innovation.
Al-Quds University expressed its pride in the students who have received these scholarships, wishing them continued success in their academic and research journeys, and expressing hope that they will serve as distinguished ambassadors of the University across various scientific fields. The University also extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for its continued support of graduate programmes and its contribution to expanding education and scientific research opportunities for Palestinian students.
