The Department of Medical Imaging focuses on the theoretical, scientific, and technological foundations of diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care. Our goal is to provide a diversified and holistic education in medical imaging that prepares graduates to become leaders in the radiography and medical imaging profession. One of the strengths of the department is its innovative patient-centric approach to teaching, with interdisciplinary and internationalized curricula that respond to the evolving health needs of populations locally and globally.
This approach to teaching at the Department of Medical Imaging develops future leaders in Palestine’s health care system, preparing them for careers as radiographers in hospitals, imaging centers, and community health organizations, as well as roles in public health promotion, imaging practice leadership, health care management, and academic education. We maintain close links with a wide range of health care settings in Palestine, facilitating cutting-edge clinical learning environments for our students.
The Department has also established a strong network with internationally recognized schools of medical imaging and radiography, enabling student and academic exchanges as well as collaborative research. Through this integration of science, technology, and human care, our graduates are equipped to advance diagnostic imaging practice and contribute meaningfully to the improvement of health care outcomes.
