Dr. Gabriele Heinen-Kljakić, German Minister for Science and Culture of Lower Saxony, along with Prof. Dr. Ulrike Beisiegel the President of University of Göttingen, and Prof. Dr. Volker Epping the President of University of Hannover have visited Al-Quds University on Thursday- November 3, 2016 and met with Prof. Imad Abu Kishek the University President. The deans and directors of different colleges and departments of the University have participated in the meeting, in addition to GIZ representatives.

The meeting started with a speech by Prof. Abu Kishek, where he presented the University different facilities and programs, and described the initiatives supported by German Government in the University.

Dr. Gabriele Heinen-Kljakić gave a speech and expressed the German Government satisfaction with the collaboration with Al-Quds University and her government’s. hope this collaboration will support the improvement of research and development at the University.

The meeting included detailed presentation on the Dual Studies Program that was implemented with the support of German Government at Al-Quds University. The presentation highlighted the great success of the program in initiating partnership agreements with local market companies. Later in the meeting, the participants explored ways to improve the cooperation, research and future funding.
