Al-Quds University
Al-Quds University (AQU) is a collegiate research university that currently offers more than 120 undergraduate and postgraduate programs, taught through its fifteen faculties that cover various disciplines such as medicine, life, and natural sciences, business and management, arts and humanities, law and jurisprudence, engineering, and social sciences. Established in 1977, AQU remains the only Arab Palestinian university in Jerusalem, Palestine. AQU currently has around 12,000 full time students, taught by more than 700 faculty members.

Registration Instructions for Transfer Students
Transferring from another university
Transfer students may enroll in any undergraduate program offered at Al-Quds University, provided they have obtained approval from the relevant university departments.
Transfer students from local or international universities are accepted by the relevant college as follows:
The student must be transferring from a recognized university or institute.
The student must have successfully completed at least 30 credit hours, two semesters, or the equivalent at the university from which the student transferred.
Meet the conditions required by the college for the specialization to which the student is transferring. Courses are not counted for dismissed students.
Every student who wishes to transfer to Al-Quds University must provide the following documents to the Admissions Department (main campus in Abu Dis) after filling out the application form.
A certified transcript from the transferring university.
If the student is transferring from a non-local Arab or foreign university, a letter from the Ministry of Education stating that the transferring university is recognized by the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education should be provided.
The transfer student must also submit a description of the courses they studied before transferring and an official letter from the transferring university stating their academic status.
Important Note: In accordance with the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education regulations and instructions, and considering the particularities of each college, transfer students are not counted for more than 48% of the total credit hours required for their new program of study. Please note that under no circumstances is the receiving university obligated to count or equate courses that the student passed at the previous institution according to its system.
