The Faculty of Law at Al-Quds University announces the opening of submissions for research papers for the international conference titled: “Gender Equality and Women Empowerment: Challenges, Solutions, and Best Practices in the Mediterranean Region”, scheduled to take place from 2–4 December 2025 at the university’s main campus in Abu Dis, with support from the Italian Development Cooperation Agency.
The call invites academics and experts to participate by submitting their valuable research, whether theoretical or applied studies supported by reliable statistics and data. Outstanding papers submitted in the conference’s official languages will be evaluated and published in peer-reviewed Italian or Palestinian journals, according to the language of submission.
The conference will focus on the following main themes:
- Violence against women
- Gender equality in the labor market and workplace
- Women and society
- Gender and government sectors
- The Italian legal system
