About Us
The Center for Jerusalem Studies at Al-Quds University is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of scholars and researchers equipped to understand and address the complex realities of Jerusalem. Through its multidisciplinary Master’s program in Jerusalem Studies, the Center integrates fields such as history, law, urban studies, archaeology, and political science. This approach reflects the need for comprehensive analytical tools to examine the city’s multifaceted political, socio-economic, and cultural conditions. By fostering academic research and encouraging innovative strategies, the Center aims to enhance understanding of Jerusalem and contribute meaningful studies that reflect the city’s unique challenges and significance.
Our Vision
To improve and develop the capabilities of current and future generations of scholars and researchers to be able to address and analyze the complex phenomena resulting from the political, social, economic and legal conditions in the city of Jerusalem. This would address the fluctuating nature of the city and help scholars and researchers to publish studies and research on the city to serve as a reliable reference.
Our Objectives
The following objectives outline key initiatives aimed at deepening knowledge, cultural understanding, and academic engagement with the city of Jerusalem. Through educational events, language programs, awareness campaigns, and specialized academic offerings, these efforts seek to foster a stronger connection between individuals and the historical, cultural, and social dimensions of Jerusalem.
