Al-Quds University Participates in the General Conference of the Union of Arab Universities in Kuwait

Al-Quds University participated in the 57th General Conference of the Union of Arab Universities, which was held at the International University in Kuwait on April 23 and 24, 2025. The conference, which was attended by over 250 Arab universities, was held under the slogan “Promoting Regional Integration and Digital Transformation in Arab Higher Education.”

The university was represented by its president, Prof. Dr. Hanna Abdel Nour, who stressed the importance of enhancing academic cooperation between Arab universities, especially in light of the challenges facing Palestinian higher education institutions.

The conference featured the launch of the “Fund for Support and Relief of Palestinian Higher Education Institutions,” which aims to help rebuild damaged universities and enable Palestinian students to continue their education.

In addition, it discussed several strategic themes, including: The Arab Knowledge Bank, the Arab Platform for Digital Education, the Arab Higher Education Area Initiative, as well as university rankings.

Al-Quds University’s participation in this event emphasizes its commitment to strengthening its presence in Arab academic forums and expanding the horizons of research and educational cooperation with other institutions. This contributes to the development of the higher education system in Palestine and the region.
