Al-Quds University President Prof. Dr. Imad Abu Kishek explored opportunities for cooperation with Medvision—Medical Simulation, a Russian company specializing in medical simulation technologies and clinical training—to establish an advanced, fully integrated medical simulation center at the University’s Faculty of Medicine. The discussions took place during the delegation’s visit to the company in Kazan, Russia.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Abu Kishek and the accompanying delegation were introduced to the company’s latest medical simulation equipment and systems, which can replicate a wide range of clinical scenarios and medical procedures. These technologies provide students and trainees with a safe, realistic learning environment in which to develop their practical skills before working directly with patients.

The University delegation expressed its appreciation for the advanced medical simulation technologies developed by the company and the educational and training solutions it offers, which could support the further development of medical education and clinical training at Al-Quds University.

At the conclusion of the visit, the two sides reached a preliminary agreement to explore the establishment of a fully integrated medical simulation center at Al-Quds University’s Faculty of Medicine. The proposed center would feature advanced simulation equipment and systems, specialized training programs, and state-of-the-art technological solutions, further strengthening the Faculty’s capacity for practice- and simulation-based medical education.

If established, the center would provide a realistic clinical training environment where medical students could practice essential skills and manage a range of scenarios, including medical emergencies and clinical procedures. It would also help strengthen their decision-making abilities and teamwork within multidisciplinary medical teams.

The center is also expected to serve as a platform for continuing medical education and specialized training for physicians and healthcare professionals, while supporting scientific research and curriculum development. In addition, it would create opportunities to deliver joint training programs in partnership with academic and healthcare institutions.

The proposed collaboration reflects Al-Quds University’s broader efforts to expand its academic and scientific partnerships with specialized institutions, universities, and companies in Russia and to harness advanced expertise and technologies to support the development of higher education, scientific research, and medical education in Palestine.

The visit also underscores the University’s commitment to forging meaningful partnerships that promote knowledge and technology transfer, strengthen academic and clinical capacities, and enhance the Faculty of Medicine’s standing and role in advancing medical education and training in Palestine.
