Entrepreneurship
The Al-Quds University B-CITE is fostering the start-up training program to aid in the development of future entrepreneurs. This program was built off of the realization that students aren’t just becoming future employees, but are building their own businesses, and thus aids students in their entrepreneurial ideas by teaching or coaching them through educational programs, seminars, workshops, etc.
22 Training Modules:
This 20-hour course explains how to generate business ideas that are insightful and actionable, and understand business dynamics as they relate to idea generation. In addition, it provides how to objectively assess skills, passions, hobbies, & interests. Also, to understand the difference between business types and which one to aim for. This course will teach the use of common techniques like problem identification to come up with ideas, and advanced techniques like disintermediation, local modifiers, and market enablers to construct ideas.
Is a 20-hour course that helps you identify major features of the organization, management functions, planning, organizing, leading, controlling, and decision-making.
A 20-hour course on how to develop the appropriate product design for your start-up? Product is vital to new ventures. It can either set startups to instant success or drive them out of business. Extra caution should be taken when designing and developing a new venture’s product. Innovation is key to good product design and development, but it entails high degree of risk.
Is a 20-hour course that gives an overview of communication skills; written, oral, and non-verbal techniques and different types of business and social communications? These are important for solving problems in an efficient, tact, smart, and diplomatic way through appropriate communication.

This is an introduction to concepts of entrepreneurship, and launching new ventures. This includes key issues in entrepreneurship and the process of launching and growing entrepreneurial ventures. It also gives an overview of creating a minimum viable product, how to do market testing, building a basic business model, developing and executing a launch plan. Is a 40-hour course that gives an overview of topics from the perspective of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, private equity professionals and limited partner investors. This course discusses various ways to raise venture capital financing and common mistakes new ventures make. In addition, this course provide overview of investment readiness for entrepreneurship through making the proper preparations to receive funding from investors, angels, or VCs.
Is an introduction to the world of electronic commerce, including an overview of the basic logic of doing business online, and the status of e-commerce. It describes the history and status of e-commerce. This course consists of 20 contact hours.

The first program in Jerusalem, the center launched the SMEs incubation program. The SMEs incubation program is an excellent tool for the development of the skills needed to run a successful SME in the region, and they will help our nation prosper and grow independently.
