Al-Quds University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program retained its top position in Palestine for the third consecutive year in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2027. The program also made notable progress regionally, climbing nine places in the Middle East and Africa to rank joint 13th, while placing in the 251–300 band globally.

This progress coincides with an increase in the program’s overall score from 33.6 to 37.5 out of 100, reflecting improved performance across the ranking’s assessment indicators and strengthening the presence of Al-Quds University’s MBA program on the global business education landscape.

The program’s improved performance also helped Palestine reach ninth place in the Middle East and Africa for MBA programs, reflecting the growing presence of Palestinian academic programs in international rankings.

The QS Global MBA Rankings are based on five key criteria: employability, return on investment, alumni outcomes, thought leadership, and diversity. The rankings draw on a range of academic and professional indicators, as well as feedback from academics and employers worldwide. This year’s results incorporated responses from 43,870 academics and 37,660 employers from around the world.

Indicators Reflecting the Program’s Quality and Impact

Al-Quds University’s MBA program demonstrated exceptional performance across several ranking indicators, earning a perfect score for graduate entrepreneurship and 79.7% for graduate employability.

In the return-on-investment category, the program ranked joint 10th in the Middle East and Africa and scored 74.2% for the time required to recoup tuition costs.

As for alumni outcomes, the program scored 47.3, exceeding the global average of 45.9, and ranked within the 171–180 band worldwide for this indicator.

Continued Progress Toward International Academic Standards

This advancement comes as part of the ongoing academic and institutional development of Al-Quds University’s Faculty of Business and Economics and its continued efforts to enhance the quality and international standing of its programs. These efforts include pursuing AACSB international accreditation, which signifies global recognition of academic quality, governance, and continuous improvement.

The faculty also offers a PhD program in Entrepreneurship and Business Economics, one of Palestine’s distinctive academic programs, combining entrepreneurship, economics, and business. To date, the program has enrolled 15 students.
