Reema Rezeq is the longest-serving employee at the Community Action Center, having started in 2000. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Al-Quds University (2014) and a professional diploma from the Young Women’s Christian Association.

Reema initially worked as a secretary. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Primary Education in 2007, her role at the center evolved. She served as Coordinator of the Community Schools Program until 2011, then as Coordinator of the Women’s Empowerment Program until 2021. Reema now works in the International and Community Advocacy Unit, a role that benefits from her strong interaction with the community. As a resident of the Old City of Jerusalem, she has deep ties with its residents.
