Prof. Dr. Imad Abu Kishek Embarks on an International Visit to Moscow to Strengthen Partnerships and Advance Academic and Research Cooperation

In the Russian capital, Moscow, Prof. Dr. Imad Abu Kishek signed a long-term strategic cooperation agreement between Al-Quds University and the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations – “Peoples’ Friendship Association”, covering academic, cultural, and knowledge-based fields. The agreement aims to facilitate the exchange of technical support and expertise across various disciplines, in addition to jointly organizing specialized scientific conferences, seminars, and exhibitions at both the local and international levels.

This came as part of Prof. Dr. Abu Kishek’s international and academic tour in Moscow, aimed at enhancing scientific and cultural cooperation between Al-Quds University and a number of educational institutions and international organizations. The visit included a series of meetings and discussions designed to exchange expertise, develop academic partnerships, and support research and cultural initiatives at both the national and global levels.

In this context, Prof. Dr. Abu Kishek met with Prof. Vladimir Alexeyevich, President of the Union of Non-Governmental Universities of Russia and President of the New Russian University, where they discussed prospects for joint academic and research cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, information technology engineering, and Russian language and literature.

He then visited Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, where discussions focused on signing several agreements for student and academic exchange, as well as for joint research and development in the fields of economics, management, and information technology engineering.

Prof. Dr. Abu Kishek also participated in the First World Peoples’ Summit, held in Moscow, which featured more than 40 high-level dialogue platforms addressing key global issues such as education, culture, science, historical memory, sports, interfaith and intercultural dialogue, the digital environment, and media communications. The summit brought together prominent representatives of public and non-governmental organizations, government officials, opinion leaders, diplomats, and business figures from around the world.
