About Us
Based on its mission to serve the community and the medical laboratory sector in particular, the Department of Laboratory Medical Sciences at the College of Health Professions started implementing the external quality control program for medical laboratories in early 1995. At the end of 2001, the program was discontinued due to the political events in the West Bank governorates and the inability to communicate effectively between the laboratories and the program. In line with the program’s main objective to contribute to raising the level of services of all medical laboratories, the program was reactivated in early 2009. In September 2011, the name of the program was changed from the External Quality Control Program to the Center for Quality Control in Laboratory Medicine, and in May 2012, the center was moved to the new headquarters in Al-Bireh.

The External Quality Control Program
The External Quality Control Program
The External Quality Control Program, which is the only national program of its kind in Palestine. The program provides its services to medical laboratories affiliated with the major private health institutions in the West Bank at the current stage, and the program is working to expand its services to include private laboratories.
Continuing Education Program
