One of AQU Faculty members of Economics, is back home after being a scholar for 3-years in the University of Leipzig (2nd oldest in Germany) doing his PhD in Economics and Econometrics.

 

I.Awad, who is joining the Faculty of Economics school with his new academic rank, had solely published several papers in refereed international journals while in Germany, and took part in a specialized research training course in Stated Preference Techniques contingent valuation, and choice modeling CM) which are used by environmental economists to assess preferences for market and non-market goods or services. Noting that Dr. Awad had obtained the European Water Resources Association (EWRA)’s membership in 2009.

 

His research interests are in Economic Theory, Water and Environmental Economics, Agronomic Economics, and Financial Economics.
