Chair of Physics department. Educated for B.Sc. in Physics, at Jordan University, Amman, Jordan, 1978, for Ph.D. in theoretical physics, at Clarkson University, NY, USA, 1990. Postdoctoral Fellow at Clarkson University, 1990-1991. DAAD award 2006, Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Science (FIAS)., Frankfurt, Germany. Fulbright scholar at University of Houston, USA, 2006-2007 and visiting fellow at Lund University, Lund, Sweden, summer,2003, 2007, 2008, 2009.

  • Computer simulation of colloidal suspensions.
  • Electrostatics in colloidal suspensions.
  • Structure and dynamics of charged colloid.
  • Microemulsion Phase behavior.
  • Stability and thermodynamics of DNA structures in solution and on surfaces both dielectric and metallic.
  • Interactions between DNA and cationic dendrimers.
