القدس – يعرض البحث نتائج فحوصات التسرب الاشعاعي التي أجريت على 117 فرن ميكروويف تستخدم في البيوت وفي المطاعم في ظروف الاستعمال العادي .
حيث تمت دراسة العلاقة بين كمية التسرب وعمر الفرن وكذلك قدرة التشغيل. وقد تبين ان العلاقة بين كمية التسرب والعمر أقوى منها في حالة قدرة التشغيل والتي تراوحت ما بين 100 و 1300 واط. وكانت كمية التسرب في معظم الأحوال اقل من الحدود المسموح بها دوليا باستثناء 6% من الافران التي تم فحصها .
فقد تجاوزت كمية التسرب الحدود المسموح بها على بعد متر واحد عن الفرن. وتخلص الدراسة الى ان استعمال افران الميكروويف بالطرق السليمة ليس من المتوقع ان يعرض المستخدم الى اضرار صحية , هذا في ظل معارفنا العلمية الحالية عن الاثار الصحية المحتملة لأشعة التردد الراديوي. وينصح باستخدام الأجهزة الحديثة ما امكن.
Title: RADIOFREQUENCY RADIATION LEAKAGE FROM MICROWAVEOVENS
Abstract:
This work presents data on the amount of radiation leakage from 117 microwave ovens in domestic and restaurant use in the West Bank – Palestine. The study of leakage is based on the measurements of radiation emissions from the oven in real life conditions, by using a frequency selective field strength measuring system . Power density from individual ovens was measured at one meter distance at the height of center of door screen. The tested ovens were of different types, models with operating powers between 1000 W and 1600 W, and ages ranging from 1 month to more than 20 years, including 16 ovens with unknown ages. The amount of radiation leakage at 1 m distance was found to vary from 0.43 μWcm-2 to 16.4 μWcm-2 with average value equaling 3.64 μWcm-2. Leakages from all tested microwave ovens except for 7 ovens (about 6% of the total) were below 10 μWcm-2. The highest radiation leakage from any tested oven was about 16.4 μWcm-2, and found in two cases only. In no case did the leakage exceed the limit of 1mWcm-2 recommended by ICNIRP for 2.45 GHz radiofrequency. This study confirms a linear correlation between the amount of leakage and both oven age and operating power, with a stronger dependence of leakage on age.
