AL-Quds University always strives to stay up-to-date with respect to scientific and technological advancements and to respond to the local community's needs. Therefore, the University is constantly creating new majors to help in developing exceptional human resources and to serve and participate in the development of the community.

The department of Computer Science fully subscribes to the mission and vision of Al-Quds University and The College of Science & Technology. We put primary importance on the quality of a Palestinian education that blends teaching with research, and emphasizes software development and hands-on training combined with all relevant theoretical aspects of the Computer Science disciplines. These combinations of skills provide a firm basis for the maximum development of Computer Science and Information Technology graduates, so they become fully prepared for a successful career in industry and academia. The department strives through the years to enhance the quality of its programs and to keep them in-line with international standards.
