Motasem Hamdan

Since Dr. Hamdan joined the Faculty of Public Health in late 1998, he has assumed many teaching, research and managerial responsibilities including acting as dean, assistant to dean and graduate program coordinator. Currently he is the coordinator of the Master program in Health Policy and Management.

He is an expert in health system development and has a profound experience in international health projects and participated for many years in the evaluation of international public health research proposals. He worked as a consultant for many national and international organizations (i.e. WHO, EC, World Bank, Italian Cooperation, Spanish Cooperation, and Merlin) and was a senior health policy advisor to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. He also served as the National Public Health Officer in the WHO office for Palestine, December 2007- June 2011. He has 8 international publications and more than 15 paper and poster presentations in international conferences.
