Since its founding in 1997, our College has enjoyed remarkable expansion of academic programs, community service and research. College faculty and students conduct research around the major public health challenges and engage in active community programs and services. Among the research areas addressed by our public health faculty and students are infectious diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, nutrition, health quality improvement, reproductive health and psychological and mental health problems.

Learning in the true spirit of public health is fulfilled through the direct translation and application of that knowledge to policies and programs that contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of the public.

We believe that student interest in pursuing a career in public health is based on a desire to make a difference, and that desire aligns with our values. Public health is truly a way for professionals and researchers to change the quality of living of individuals in communities across the world.
