Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences Alquds University. The Ph.D. in Endocrinology was from the Department of Biochemistry - State University of New York at Buffalo in 1983. A Research Scientist at George Washington University in the area of lipid biochemistry for 10 years. Joined Alquds University in 1994.

• Role of antioxidants in Diabetes Mellitus.
• HbA1c as a diagnostic tool for Diabetes Mellitus.
• Use of staple isotopes in measuring rates of in vivo synthesis of lipids, ketone bodies, glucose and urea.
• Deoxyribonuclease activity in helical bacteria.
