I cordially welcome you to the website of the Electronic Engineering Department (EED). The department was first established in 1979 to provide the BSc degree in electronic technology and then developed in 1993 to provide the BSc degree in electronic engineering. Currently, the EED has 168 enrolled students, 9 full-time faculty members and 6 supporting staff. The new study plan requires 168 credit hours, of which 24 credit hours are university requirements, 53 credit hours are faculty requirements, and 91 credit hours are department requirements. The study plan covers all fields of electronic engineering including: electronics, communications, digital systems, power systems and control. Our vision is to provide the Palestinian and regional markets with high qualified human resources, who have proper scientific and technical background in the different fields of electronic engineering.
