Director of Musicology Department and Director of Ethnomusicology Research and Studies Centre, Al-Quds University, Abu Dies, Jerusalem, Palestine. P.h.D degree in Ethnomusicology from Ukrainian National P.I. Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, Kyiv, Ukraine, June, 1997. A member of the International Music Council, UNESCO, Paris, a member of the International Society for Musical Education (ISME), Australia, a member of the International British Council for Ethnomusicology (BFE), Liverpool University, Britain. Also, a member of the Committee of Music Historical Studies, the Arab Academy of Music, League of Arab States.

  • The role of music heritage in creating continuity among future generations and their musical heritage on the one hand, and with their cultural identity on the other
