The Business Administration Department at Al-Quds University is one of the most distinguished departments in this field. In less than 10 years the department has been acknowledged at the nation level by the quality of education and with its understanding of the needs of the business environment in Palestinian. We strive to achieve the excellence by selecting the highly motivated and qualified staff that proved their exceptional success and achievement in the private sector which made them fully aware of what they teach and how it should be taught. The majority of the staff has worked as trainers and consultants in the local market. The business environment in the world in general and in Palestine in particular is volatile and dynamic, this dynamicity has been reflected in a contemporary academic plan that has been revised three times in less than 10 years. The Business Administration Department teaches unique courses that other universities don’t. Furthermore, all the courses are taught using newly published books , case studies and computer applications , this has added value to our the education at the Faculty . Teaching business administration and management entails much more than the curriculum from the books. So we believe that training and lecturing by external staff and experts of the trade are vital to build strong personality and explore leadership skills in our students besides other skills. These activities constitute an important block in teaching business at Al-Quds University. Furthermore and as final step towards preparing our students for their future employment, they are required to acquire filed training in one of the management fields in any local business they opt. This training is very essential to help them see and practice what they have studied during the 4 years. |
