Institute of Modern Media

The Institute of Modern Media was established at Al-Quds University in 1996, in Al-Bireh near the town of Ramallah. The institute's most vital department is Al-Quds Educational Television, which is considered the university's communication link to Palestinian society.

Al-Quds Educational Television

  • Support cooperation between local independent television stations through program exchange and training.
  • Increase community involvement in addressing local needs, particularly focussing on issues such as nation building, community development, pluralism, democracy, human rights and freedom of speech.
